Al-Sudani announced the withdrawal of American coalition forces from Iraq by 2026

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani said he had reached an agreement with Washington on a timetable to end the international coalition’s mission by 2026.

Stating that Iraq is an attractive environment for investment, al-Sudani said that he will stop importing gas from Iran by 2028.

The Prime Minister of Iraq declared the upcoming meeting of the heads of Arab countries in Baghdad as an important event that coincides with the difficult situation in the region.

Al-Sudani said that his country will not be subjected to any foreign pressure or dictates, and continued that Iraq has a good relationship with Iran and also has a good relationship with the United States, and this is an advantage.

The Prime Minister of Iraq further stated that his country has special relations with Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia.

The Prime Minister of Iraq added that we do not want Syria to be a field of conflicts between foreigners, we want to see the clear position of the Syrian government regarding the fight against ISIS, and we also want a clear position regarding Israel’s invasion of Syrian territory.
