Israel will remain in Lebanon for many years
Sources in the Israeli regime’s cabinet told the Hebrew-language channel 12 that there are some places in southern Lebanon where the army plans to stay for many years and not leave.
These statements are after the Central Command of the US Army (CENTCOM) announced late last night that the first phase of the withdrawal of Israeli army forces from southern Lebanon, from the western part of Naqura and the villages of this region, has been completed.
Yesterday, Jasper Jeffers, the commander of the ceasefire monitoring mechanism in southern Lebanon, visited the headquarters of the 5th division of the Lebanese army, which replaced the Israeli army in the western sector in recent days.
