Reuters: Ukraine assassinated the Russian general
Following the death of a senior Russian general due to an explosion in Moscow, AFP and Reuters reported today, quoting a Ukrainian source, that Kiev is behind the murder of Igor Krylov, head of the radiological chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian armed forces.
Also, Kyiv Post reported, quoting a source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), that Krylov was killed in the operation of this organization.
Kiev had previously accused this Russian commander of using banned chemical weapons in the war against Ukraine.
Russian media, such as Sputnik, reported today that at 6:11 a.m. local time, an explosion was heard in the Riyaz-Ansk Prospect area of the Russian capital, causing two casualties.
The Ukrainian source claimed that “Krylov was a war criminal and a perfectly legitimate target because he had ordered the use of banned chemical weapons against the Ukrainian army.
