North Korea: 11,000 of our soldiers fighting in the Ukraine war
Park Sun-won, a member of the intelligence committee of the North Korean parliament, quoted the country’s national intelligence department as saying that 10,900 soldiers of this country are participating in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
According to a Reuters report, he said that North Korean soldiers are fighting against Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region as part of Russian military units; But some have already participated in the battles of Ukraine.
The North Korean lawmaker added: “North Korea has also sent more weapons, including missile launchers, to the war in Ukraine.”
Previously, NATO announced that North Korean military units have been sent to the Kursk region in Russia near the Ukrainian border.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the increasing role of North Korea in this war is a threat to all countries.
