The Lebanese legislator announced Lebanon’s conditional agreement with the ceasefire proposal

In an interview with Reuters, Ali Hassan Khalil, a Lebanese representative from the “Development and Freedom” faction, said that Lebanon and Hezbollah agreed to the American ceasefire proposal with some comments on the content.

He said that the American envoy, Amos Ho Kashtain, is going to Beirut to continue the negotiations regarding the ceasefire proposal.

Ali Hassan Khalil stated that this American proposal for a ceasefire was the most serious attempt to end the war so far.

The Lebanese representative stated that his country delivered its written response to the American ceasefire proposal to the American ambassador in Beirut on Monday.
