North Korea tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile
Pyongyang test-fired a new Hwasong-19 intercontinental ballistic missile on Thursday (1th of November), the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un called the move a clear success.
This missile reached a height of 7,687 kilometers and traveled 1,110 kilometers in 5,156 seconds before landing in the waters east of the Korean Peninsula.
According to Reuters, this is the longest intercontinental ballistic missile launch by North Korea.
South Korea has warned that Pyongyang may receive missile technology from Russia in exchange for sending troops and participating in the war in Ukraine.
