In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt called on Israel to stop punishing the residents of the Gaza Strip by mass starvation and indiscriminate attacks against civilians.
This request from Israel comes at a time when Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi announced that Egypt received about 7.4 billion euros from the European Union to support its economy.
