America gives 32 advanced fighters to Romania

According to “D” magazine, the German website of the US government approved the sale of 32 advanced F-35 fighter jets to Romania from its partners in the NATO military alliance.

U.S. Ambassador to Bucharest Kathleen Kavalak said Ukraine’s neighbor is a key ally in the NATO coalition, which is committed to security and stability in the Black Sea region and beyond.

He added that by acquiring these stealthy multi-purpose warplanes, Romania will achieve unprecedented air defense capabilities, so the first delivery should be done in 2031.
