Congo sentenced 37 people to death on charges of coup
The military court in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday sentenced 37 people, including three American citizens, to death on charges of attempting a coup in this country.
After finishing the trial of 51 people whose trial process started in early June, Fadi Ahom, the head of the Congolese military court, announced that the court has considered the most severe punishment, i.e. execution for the criminal act of attack and terrorism. Three Americans, an Englishman, a Canadian and a Belgian are among the people sentenced to death.
