The next Secretary General of NATO has been determined

Politico reported that after the agreement of all 32 members of the NATO alliance, the next Secretary General of this alliance has been determined.

Politico reported on Thursday (20th of June)that Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is going to replace Jens Stoltenberg as the next Secretary General of NATO.

After the agreement of Hungary and Slovakia on Tuesday, Romania also announced its agreement with Rutte’s presidency on Thursday.

Romania’s agreement was made after Romanian President Klaus Iohannis withdrew his candidacy.

Yohanis said during the meeting of the Supreme Council of National Defense that he announced his withdrawal from the candidacy for this position to the members of the NATO alliance.
