Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, welcomed the proposed plan of the American President to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and said that now is the time to stop.
He wrote that this initiative of Joe Biden led to the cease-fire in Gaza, the release of all hostages and humanitarian access in Gaza and sustainable peace in the Middle East.
