Mohammad Akraminia, a spokesman for the Iranian military, announced the force’s plan to increase the range and speed of its missiles, saying that the experience of the recent war has shown that the army’s missile capabilities must be improved.
Akraminia added that due to the enemy forces being located further away from Iran’s coast, the range of the missiles will increase to about a thousand kilometers.
He also said that significant steps have been taken to increase the speed of missiles and their pinpoint accuracy, and that future generations of army missiles will have greater capabilities.
