Afghan Defense Ministry delegation participates in Russia’s 2026-Center strategic military exercise
The Ministry of National Defense has announced that a high-ranking delegation of the ministry, led by Maulvi Nasibullah “Madani”, Commander of the Abdullah bin Massoud Joint and Combat Training Command, has participated in the “Center-2026” joint strategic military exercises at the official invitation of Russia.
In addition to observing the practical stages of the exercises, the delegation also visited an exhibition of modern military equipment, including heavy weapons, unmanned aircraft, long-range missiles, robotic systems, and other advanced military equipment.
During this visit, the Afghan military delegation discussed and exchanged views with military representatives from China, India, North Korea, Vietnam, Colombia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and a number of other countries about bilateral relations, military experiences, professional education, and joint cooperation.
