Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal strongly condemned Pakistan’s recent airstrikes on Kunar and Paktika provinces.
Jaiswal said that a number of civilians had died in the attacks. He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added that carrying out attacks on the territory of an independent and neighboring country harms regional peace and security and increases tensions.
India has once again emphasized its support for the independence, national sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Afghanistan.
