FBI Director Kesh Patel says that Mohammad Sharifullah, an ISIS member, was arrested in connection with the Blue Gate attack at Kabul International Airport and transferred to the United States in March 2025.
Patel added that Sharifullah was convicted of his crimes in the United States and that the FBI will not forget the Blue Gate attack in which 13 American soldiers were killed.
- The FBI director has emphasized that the agency will identify and pursue individuals who target American forces.
