Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that a Saudi F-15 fighter jet was shot down by a domestically-made surface-to-air missile while carrying out “hostile actions” in the sky over Marib province.
According to Saree, the fighter jet was operating in support of gatherings of forces affiliated with Saudi Arabia.
Previously, the I24 network had also reported unconfirmed reports about the downing of a Saudi F-15 fighter jet over Marib, but did not provide further details.
