Patrick Dehan, a Gazbadi analyst, said that rising diesel prices could increase the operating costs of trucks transporting cargo, sending packages, and transporting food.
Reuters reported that the increase in the price of petroleum products in the United States coincided with disruptions in oil supplies from the Persian Gulf region and a reduction in oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz, putting significant pressure on the global energy market.
At the same time, the price of Brent oil has also exceeded $108 per barrel.
