Citing informed sources, the Sianan News Network reported that more than 100 American military advisors are present in Saudi Arabia, assisting Saudi forces in operations against the Yemeni Ansarullah movement in intelligence and targeting.
A US official has announced that the total number of US troops present within the framework of a newly established joint command is about 200 people. The command was created after increasing concerns about Iran’s support for the Ansar Allah movement’s attacks on Saudi Arabia.
According to the report, the United States is providing Saudi Arabia with intelligence information and geo-targeting support, and is also helping to use a tool to observe real-time events on the battlefield.
This support comes as the conflict in Yemen and the attacks by the Ansar Allah movement in the region have increased, and concerns have grown about the spread of the conflict and the threat to the Bab al-Mandab Strait, one of the important shipping routes.
American officials have also claimed the presence of hundreds of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps officers in Yemen and their cooperation with the Ansarullah movement, a claim that Iran has not yet confirmed.
