Mullah Baradar met with the Turkish ambassador about expanding economic and trade relations

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister for Economy, met with Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan Sadin Ilds on Thursday and discussed the development of economic, trade and transit relations between the two countries and the solution of the problems of Afghan refugees in Turkey.

Mullah Baradar appreciated the activities of Turkish companies in Afghanistan and called on other Turkish investors to invest in various sectors in Afghanistan. He assured that the Islamic Emirate will provide the necessary facilities for Turkish investors.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs also emphasized solving the problems of Afghan refugees in Türkiye and creating convenience for them.

The Turkish ambassador also expressed satisfaction with the increase in trade between the two countries and said his country was ready to expand relations with Afghanistan in the fields of transportation, transit, health, education and other economic sectors.

Sadin Aydın added that Turkey will continue to cooperate in developing Afghanistan’s relations with the international community and presenting a true picture of Afghanistan to the world. He also said that facilities have been created for Afghans in the field of visa issuance and they are trying to increase these facilities.
