OCHA :Afghan children face many obstacles in accessing education

Coinciding with International Literacy Day, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Afghanistan says that children in the country face many obstacles to accessing education.

OCHA has emphasized the importance of literacy in accessing knowledge, opportunities, and having a secure future, and has considered sustained investment in the education sector essential for children’s growth and a better future.
