Massive explosions rock Kiev, Ukrainian capital targeted by missile attacks

Ukrainian media reported several powerful explosions in the capital, Kiev, on Tuesday morning, coinciding with the end of a 72-hour ceasefire and the announcement of airstrikes in most parts of Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian media reports, Russia used a combination of Iskander-MKN23 ballistic missiles, Zirkan hypersonic missiles, and cruise missiles in this attack.

Local sources have also claimed that at least 30 Kh-101 cruise missiles were flying from the Smolensk region of Russia towards targets in Ukraine.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the missile strike and said the Ukrainian capital was targeted by a Russian ballistic missile attack.
