Turkish Ambassador’s Farewell Meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Emphasizes Expanding Comprehensive Kabul-Ankara Relations
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate announced that Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry, today met with Jang Onal, the Turkish Ambassador to Kabul, whose diplomatic mission has ended.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, mutual understanding, and developing comprehensive cooperation in various fields.
Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zia Ahmad Tekel, wrote in a press release that Mr. Naeem appreciated the good coordination and positive role of the Turkish Ambassador during his mission, calling the historical, cultural, religious and political relations between Afghanistan and Turkey “deep and strong” and expressing hope that cooperation between the two countries will expand further in the future.
Jang Onal, the Turkish Ambassador, also thanked the Islamic Emirate’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its cooperation and emphasized that Turkey attaches special importance to relations with Afghanistan and is committed to supporting and cooperating with the Afghan people in all areas.
Both sides emphasized the continuation and deepening of mutual relations and cooperation in the future.
